My Story

I suppose my story is like most other people, a lot of good, and in other areas, room for improvement…lol! . My love and belief in coaching manifests from my own experience, and the amazing success stories of others.

If Coaching works for me, It works for anybody!  From my childhood, I brought forth trust, anger, and self-confidence issues. When I decided to become a Coach, I thought they might throw me out when they found out the real me.

I am proud of journey. The courage it takes to work within and make the changes to move us towards our life purpose and goals also makes us stronger and wiser.  Progress is not always linear but when I look back at my belief system five years ago and who I am now, the growth is amazing.

I’ve learned we possess far greater ability than we think. We just need the right tools to access our potential. These tools work for us just as effectively as those that we look up to and admire. The difference is they use them already. We just need the determination to do the same. And, that is exactly what Coaching allows me to do.

I now understand this is my true calling. I wish I had followed my Aunt Ethel’s advice when I left teaching many years ago.  She told me, “that’s where my true passion and joy resided.” Now, after three decades of recruiting, and chasing the “dream”, I realize Coaching is my gift and calling, helping clients the most, and giving me great satisfaction. What gives you great satisfaction?

Before you answer that, ask yourself this. What is the biggest goal that you set for yourself? Is it money?? Is it serving others? Then, ask yourself how you will feel when you achieve this goal. The feeling is the real goal! The rest is just a vehicle to get you there.

I hope you decide to amaze yourself and start on this path. Only good things can come of it. We can change almost anything we choose.
